March Loves... and a giveaway!

One heck of an addictive TV show, lots of good reading and Pass - the love of my life right now.

Oh, and also a giveaway!

>> Homeland. Heard lots about this show in the last couple of months from various people. Even caught a couple of minutes here and there while watching TV but never really "committed" until my friend Antu came along with Season 1 and 2 and I was pretty much hooked. Two seasons down and I have to say, they sure know how to keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing what's going to happen next!

>> Galli. As things with TNP are slowly getting more settled, I've been able to find more time researching one of my other loves... photo essays. Galli is my favourite online magazine to find some really incredible work from around India. Stories that many of us know nothing about. See for yourself: www.galli.in

>> Magazines. Online magazines are good, and I am so grateful for the easy access to them but there's nothing like flipping through those slippery, glossy, fragile pages of an actual magazine. Time, Caravan and The Indian Quarterly are some of my current favourites. Great writing, great design, great photographs. Three things that inspire and delight me. I think some subscriptions are in order soon...

>> Pass. Oh, Pass. Where do I begin to tell you how this amazing concept and community of creative people has transformed my life. I first learnt about it through another photographer's blog and thought it was cool, but I didn't have the need or the means to use it then. Fast forward to... January 2013, I "Passed" my first event: Priyanka and Chirag's Wedding and I am sold.

So what is Pass? It's basically a software that you use to 'pass' on your client's images in a simple, clean and sleek way. The client gets a beautiful gallery with their images stored on a safe server for a whole year, they have the ability to download all their images, share them easily and it's also very seamlessly connected to social media. AND they have control over the privacy of their images if they so desire.

(Goodbye pesky unreliable DVDs is what I'm thinking.)

Photogs, if you're not sold yet, try it out for yourself! I have two invites to give away so if you're interested, let me know!

Aaaaand... to end this post, here's a little sneak peek from a recent wedding.
